So Sad! 19 Year Old Girl Dies After Childbirth (See Ph0t0)

Blessing Adenike Adeoye, 19, was taken to traditional midwives known in Yoruba as “elewe omo” probably because her Igando, Lagos-based parents couldn’t afford the cost of taking her to a proper hospital. She was the first of her parent’s 7 children.
According Newsroom,she reportedly gained admission into Moshood Abiola Polytechnic (MAPOLY), in 2015, the same year her boyfriend got her pregnant and she had no choice but to suspend her education in order to nurture the pregnancy. She died yesterday, shortly after giving birth to a baby boy.

Heeyaa..Read Actor Jide Kosoko’s Very Emotional Tribute To His Late Wife, Henrietta Kosoko

Veteran Nollywood actor, Prince Jide Kosoko has penned a moving tribute to his late wife, Henrietta Kosoko who departed this earth last week.
The late actress has since been buried in her hometown. Jide, moved by the tragedy that befell him making a total of three wives that have been taken away from him by death wrote:
“I find it disheartening that my treasured wife passed away at R-Jolad hospital. It was a terrible shock because the sickness was so brief and never looked like a terminal one.  

My darling Henrietta was not only a wonderful wife and mother but she was my meticulous partner in my profession as well as housekeeper and homemaker. She was a cheerful, friendly person and made many warm friends.
Rita seldom, if ever criticized any person. Instead, she preferred to refer to their good qualities. My wife was the soul of honesty. She would never shade the truth no matter what the consequences. It is difficult for me to estimate Rita. She departs this sinful word with a substantial proportion of me. We did not only fall in love but also built our relationship and were also fond of ourselves till death.
She inspired me in ways I cannot explain. I have lost a worthy helpmate but I have nothing but happy memories of her in this world. Adieu Henrietta Kosoko. I sorrow now for my beloved wife but the burden has been lessened by the many kindness shown my family and me.”

Boko Haram members reportedly float radio station

Members of terrorist group, Boko Haram have reportedly launched a radio FM station to propagate their activities in Nigeria and other parts of Africa. According to a report on the Hausa service of the Voice of America which was aired yesterday June 15th, ‎some residents in Tolkomari village in the far northern part of Cameroon say they have received signals from the sects radio station on 96.8fm.

The VoA report said the station broadcast programmes to counter media reports of victories by troops from Nigeria, Chad, Cameroon and Niger Republic against the militants. Efforts are being made by the ‎Cameroonian government to locate the radio station and dismantle it.

Victoria Inyama's limited edition wristwatch gets stolen by a visitor in her home

Former Nollywood actress, Victoria Inyama, shared this photo of her limited edition Tag Heuer wristwatch which she said was stolen inside her home by a visitor. She wrote; 
"Am so hurt. This very sentimental piece was taken or should I say stolen from my home, No I wasn't burgled. A person That visited me stole it and that's why it grieves my heart. It can't be sold to a proper jeweller cause it has security Mark but I suspect it could have been locally sold here in d UK or to some innocent person in Nigeria or may have even been pawned for cash. I pray that someone who has seen it somehow contacts me. it's a limited edition & not common. Plssssss. Thank U".
